Students step into the roles of lawyers, witnesses, and jurors in this engaging, hands-on camp focused on critical thinking and communication. Participants will work together to investigate a fictional case, analyze evidence, build arguments, and present their case in a mock trial setting. We will delve into the justice system in an organic and thoughtful way. We will go on a field trip to the 4th District Court in Provo to observe court. The week will culminate with an invitation for parents to the final trial on the evening of day 5. This intensive experience is designed to build confidence, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of fairness and justice in a fun, supportive environment.
This camp is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving, discussion, and creative role-play. No prior experience is needed—students will be guided through each step of the process and supported in developing their ideas and presentation skills. All we ask is that your child sincerely wants to participate. This is why we ask for an application to attend which you can find here.
